Sam Jarrett, RD, CHS, CNC, CLE

Board  Certified / Fellow / Clinical Nutrition

Mr. Jarrett specializes in weight management and associated disease risks including hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, kidney disease, metabolic syndrome, and more in adult patients. As a Board-Certified Health Specialist, he provides quality care to help his patients and is committed to helping patients achieve their personal health goals through dietary modifications, identification of nutritional deficiencies, and appropriate exercise. Wellness screenings, education, testing, and counseling are provided for those with eating disorders, weight challenges, diabetes, and Pre and Post Bariatric nutritional care to name a few. He is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Nutritional Counselor, Certified Lifestyle Educator & Wellness Coach. Specialties include Weight Management, Clinical Nutrition, Dietary Management, Nutrition Consulting, Education, Dietetics and Nutritional Therapeutics. A nutrition and wellness speaker, Mr. Jarrett is involved in his local community as well as local colleges including Victoria College and the University of Houston.

Javier Vazquez Ortiz, MD

Family Medicine Practitioner

Dr. Javier Vazquez Ortiz is a board-certified family and bariatric medicine physician in Victoria, Texas, affiliated with Citizens Medical Center-Victoria and DeTar Healthcare System-Victoria. He specializes in preventive care, chronic disease management (such as diabetes and hypertension), and non-surgical weight loss treatment. He earned his medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at Womack Army Medical Center. With nearly 15 years of experience, Dr. Vazquez takes an integrated approach to health and wellness and accepts most insurance plans, including Medicare.

Behavioral Counselor, therapist & Life Coach

As a behavioral counselor, therapist and coach, Suzanne Ewing is dedicated to empowering individuals of all ages to navigate life challenges through evidence-based approaches, specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma and addictions. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Regis University and a Master’s degree from the University of Colorado. With 20+ years of experience, she utilizes a client-centered approach, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to help individuals develop coping mechanisms and achieve lasting positive change. She is passionate about creating a supportive and collaborative environment to foster personal growth and well-being. Committed to personal growth, Suzanne also gives back through her work with organizations like Operation Jumpstart and CASA, having made her a trusted ally for those seeking meaningful change and lasting transformation.
